# Use pangea from OpenClaw

_Independent guide · not affiliated with OpenClaw_

OpenClaw reads pangea's skill.md and uses the API with curl.

## What it can do with pangea

- OpenClaw can read skill files. pangea publishes one at /skill.md, with metadata at /skill.json.
- It can run curl against the pangea API: search, exact quotes, holding dates and checking booking status.

## Your brief

Copy this, fill in the blanks, and send it.

```
Read https://thisispangea.com/skill.md and help me book a vacation home on pangea.
Where: ____
Dates: check in ____, check out ____
Guests: ____ (pets: ____)
Budget: up to $____ total, taxes included
Must-haves: ____
Show me the best 3 options with the total price (taxes included), cancellation terms (and a free-cancellation deadline when offered) and a photo of each.
Use the API with curl. Send the supported book_url or pay_url for the one I pick. External reservations are confirmed by the manager, not by the Pangea status API.
Don't book or pay anything until I say yes. External checkout requires confirmation from the manager; a Pangea practice confirmation is a simulation.
```

## Steps

1. Ask OpenClaw to read https://thisispangea.com/skill.md (metadata: https://thisispangea.com/skill.json).
2. Fill in the blanks in the brief above and send it.
3. OpenClaw searches over HTTP and shows you up to three homes, each with the total price including taxes, cancellation terms (and a free-cancellation deadline when offered) and a photo.
4. Pick one and say yes. For website homes, POST /api/v1/bookings returns 409 book_on_manager_site with a checkout link and no hold. Internal holds last 15 minutes; inspect payment.mode.
5. Website homes are paid and confirmed on the manager site. Internal practice confirmations are simulations. Live payments are unverified; SMS delivery is not connected.

## Shorter version

```
Read https://thisispangea.com/skill.md, then add the pangea skill and find me a place to stay. Show me the best 3 options with the total price (taxes included), cancellation terms (and a free-cancellation deadline when offered) and a photo of each. When I pick one, send me its booking link. Don't book or pay anything until I say yes.
