# Use pangea from Meta Muse

_Independent guide · not affiliated with Meta or Meta Muse_

Muse can click through pangea in its cloud browser, or call the pangea API through a custom connector.

## What it can do with pangea

- Muse uses a cloud browser that reads the page's accessibility tree. Every pangea button and field has a visible text label, so it can search, open listings and reach the booking page.
- You can ask Muse to build a custom connector from an OpenAPI description. Point it to /openapi.json and it can search, quote and hold dates over the pangea API.
- Pangea exposes a Stripe token payment code path for internal holds, but live transactions are unverified. Website homes use the manager checkout; send the guest that link.

## Your brief

Copy this, fill in the blanks, and send it.

```
Read https://thisispangea.com/skill.md and help me book a vacation home on pangea.
Where: ____
Dates: check in ____, check out ____
Guests: ____ (pets: ____)
Budget: up to $____ total, taxes included
Must-haves: ____
Show me the best 3 options with the total price (taxes included), cancellation terms (and a free-cancellation deadline when offered) and a photo of each.
If you pay with my Stripe Link wallet, ask me first and show me the exact amount.
Don't book or pay anything until I say yes. External checkout requires confirmation from the manager; a Pangea practice confirmation is a simulation.
```

## Steps

1. Optional: ask Muse to "build a custom connector from https://thisispangea.com/openapi.json". This lets it search and book through the API instead of the browser.
2. Fill in the blanks in the brief above and send it to Muse.
3. Muse searches pangea and shows you up to three homes, each with the total price including taxes, cancellation terms (and a free-cancellation deadline when offered) and a photo.
4. Pick one and ask Muse to send the supported checkout link. Check the final price and terms there before paying.
5. For external checkout, only the manager can confirm the reservation. A Pangea practice confirmation is a simulation.

## Shorter version

```
Read https://thisispangea.com/skill.md, then find me a place to stay. Show me the best 3 options with the total price (taxes included), cancellation terms (and a free-cancellation deadline when offered) and a photo of each. When I pick one, send me its booking link. Don't book or pay anything until I say yes.
